Nookies Cookies is strictly dedicated to using the finest organic and all-natural ingredients to make products of the highest quality and appeal. Taking great care in precision, and paying enormous attention to detail, our baked goods look great, taste amazing, and will always be offered at reasonable and justifiable prices. We have done extensive research and testing to ensure that the products we offer are the best—in flavor, sustainability, and affordability. As a company our goal is to maintain a steadfast dedication to perpetually improving both the products and services that we offer.

Here we have highlighted a few of the raw ingredients used to help us produce some of the best tasting gourmet cookies and ice cream available.

Chocolate Chips

We use dark chocolate made up of no less than 60% cacao, giving the perfect combination of sweet with a slight bite.

Vanilla Beans

Our vanilla and dulce de leche ice creams are prepared with the ever-popular Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans from the finest curers in the world. We work directly with one of the best, and oldest, vanilla bean providers who share many of the same virtues as we do: family, fair trade, and the highest level of quality.

 

 

Natural, Unsweetened Cocoa

This premium cocoa is responsible for the intense chocolate experience you’ll enjoy when indulging in one of our two chocolate cookie choices. These roasted cocoa beans bring out the essence and richness that chocolate lovers crave, bringing them guaranteed satisfaction.

Gianduja

Yes, it’s a funny word and not well-known, but we use the highest quality of hazelnuts, toast and grind them, and steep them in warm cream to transfer as much nutty flavor as possible before combining it with the finest melted milk chocolate, and churning it into our gianduja ice cream.

 


About Us

Before enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America, our head baker graduated from college in Los Angeles and moved across the country to serve her country in the United States Senate. During these formidable years of life, she realized that she loved to cook for both friends and strangers alike and that before it was too late, she should follow her love for service and food and make a major career change. Before returning to the West, she worked as a chef in some of New York’s best restaurants. Since moving to Seattle, she has been impressed by the sense of community and support for local businesses seen here. This has motivated her to use the wealth of resources the Pacific Northwest has to offer and has inspired her to further pursue her passion for providing great tasting treats to those around her.


Peanuts

Virginia peanuts, known for their quality, size, and crispness, are lightly toasted, meticulously chopped, and thoroughly mixed in to our dough, adding the crunchy texture and authentic peanut flavor that other peanut butter cookies lack.

Organic, Natural Peanut Butter

Free from partially hydrogenated fats and trans fatty acids with no added sugar, our peanut butter is USDA-certified organic. Made from 99% freshly roasted peanuts and a dash of salt, this peanut butter is simply delicious in its most natural form.

 

 

Dulce de Leche

The hours it takes cooking sweetened condensed milk at a low temperature is totally worth the caramel-colored gooeyness that makes our dulce de leche ice cream so memorable.

Raisins

Soaked in tea to add plumpness and enhance flavor, organic Thompson raisins bring sweetness to our cinnamon-laced oatmeal raisin cookies, giving a perfect balance of sugar and spice.

 

 

Heavy Cream

With no less than 36% butterfat, our heavy cream is made from fresh, local milk. Smooth, creamy, and flavorful, this product creates the creamiest ice cream that leaves you with the most pleasant mouth feel.

Flour

After months of recipe testing, we found that using top-of-the-line flours in our dough warranted the best results. Naturally pure, this essential baking ingredient is always consistent and reliable. As does our flour producer, we hold true to offering only the highest quality products to our customers.
